No.1 Urban Aesthetics Newcastle-under-Lyme
Dermal filler, planned properly, doesn't announce itself. The aim is proportion and balance — volume placed where your anatomy needs it, nowhere else. Every treatment starts with a face-to-face consultation and your face, not a trending look. Bex Beckett, Registered Nurse and Lead Aesthetic Practitioner, assesses, plans and treats — the same practitioner throughout.

Treatment areas
What to expect
An honest conversation about what you want, what your anatomy supports and what realistic outcomes look like. If treatment isn't right for you, we'll say so.
Product choice, volume and placement technique are decided around your face — your proportions, your anatomy, your goals. Not a standard amount applied to everyone.
Meticulous placement using technique suited to the area and outcome. Topical numbing is applied. Most treatments take 20–40 minutes once preparation is complete.
Clear written aftercare. You'll know exactly what to watch for and who to contact. A review is available if needed — swelling can take a few days to settle.
Your anatomy. Your goals. Your plan.
Anatomy-led assessment
Volume is planned around how your face is structured — your proportions, bone support and existing tissue. Bex assesses in clinic and discusses what your anatomy can support before any product is selected or placed. Treatment plans are built on what your face needs, not a predetermined amount.
Reversibility as standard
All filler placed at No.1 Urban Aesthetics is hyaluronic acid-based — dissolvable with hyaluronidase if needed. Hyaluronidase is a prescription medicine, administered under the independent prescribing authority of Christopher Beckett, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Governance Lead. Dissolution is therefore carried out under the same in-house clinical oversight as the original placement — not referred elsewhere.
Lumi-Fil range in clinic
Bex works with the Lumi-Fil product range — selected for its safety profile, longevity and aesthetic properties across different treatment areas. Product choice is made per area and per patient at consultation. Different areas and outcomes call for different formulations — not one product applied universally.
If you want filler done properly, it starts with assessment — not with agreeing a random amount over messages. Book in, have the conversation, and we’ll tell you honestly what will work, what won’t, and what your face actually needs.
Common questions
Some initial swelling is normal — particularly for lips — and settles over a few days. The aim throughout is proportion and balance, so treatment is planned around what your face can support, not a maximum volume. If something doesn't look right once swelling has settled, that's what the review appointment is for.
Longevity varies by area, product and metabolism — lips tend to be shorter than other areas. Expected duration is discussed at consultation once your plan is agreed. We don't quote timelines without first knowing the area, product and volume involved.
You can share what you've seen and what appeals to you. Bex will advise what's achievable given your anatomy, the proportions involved and what will look balanced long-term. Some techniques suit some faces; others don't. That conversation happens at consultation — not once the filler is in.
Volume is a clinical decision made at assessment based on your anatomy, your goals and what your face can proportionately support. We don't agree amounts before seeing you, and we won't place more than your face needs to achieve the agreed outcome.
Minimal. Some swelling and occasional bruising can occur — both temporary. Most people resume normal activities the same day. We ask you to avoid extreme heat, strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours, and to avoid pressure on the treated area for a few days. Written aftercare is provided.
Hyaluronic acid filler is dissolvable using hyaluronidase — a prescription medicine administered by our independent prescriber. Dissolution requires a separate appointment and assessment, and is not a trivial procedure. That's why getting the placement right from the start — and reviewing at the right time — matters more than the option to reverse.
