urbanRX — Frequently Asked Questions What is urbanRX? urbanRX is a B2B clinical support service for aesthetic clinics, led by Christopher Beckett, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber (NMC 05h0333e). We provide in-person prescribing, clinical oversight and governance frameworks that support safe, compliant practice. Do you prescribe for our clients? Yes — and we do it properly. Chris attends your clinic session, assesses each client face to face, and prescribes on that basis. We do not prescribe remotely and we do not sign prescriptions for clients we have not personally assessed. If you're looking for remote sign-off, urbanRX isn't the right fit. Do we need our own prescriber to work with urbanRX? No. Many clinics work with us precisely because they don't have in-house prescribing. If you do already have a prescriber, we can support around them — session cover, governance, documentation or DPP supervision. Every clinic setup is assessed individually at enquiry. Can you act as a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP)? DPP supervision is available for suitable candidates, subject to assessment of your setting, caseload and supervision requirements. Pricing is per clinic session and scales with volume — £35 per client for 1–4 clients, £30 each for 5–9, and £25 each for 10 or more. Day rates and hub rates are available on application.
