Our courses combine evidence-based teaching with supervised practical experience, allowing delegates to develop confidence in facial assessment, consultation, injection techniques, patient safety and clinical decision-making. Training is delivered by practising Registered Nurses and supported by robust clinical governance, ensuring every course reflects the same high standards used in everyday patient care.

Frequently Asked Questions What makes Urban Academy different from other aesthetics training providers? Urban Academy delivers training inside your own clinic wherever possible. Rather than learning in a simulated academy environment, delegates train using their own treatment room, equipment, models and workflow, creating a far more realistic learning experience. Who delivers the training? Training is delivered by experienced registered nurses with extensive backgrounds in healthcare, advanced clinical practice and aesthetic medicine. Clinical governance and prescribing oversight are provided by Chris Beckett, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber. Are the courses accredited? Urban Academy delivers CPD-led education designed around current clinical practice. Individual courses may carry CPD accreditation where applicable. Delegates should always ensure any qualification meets the requirements of their insurer and regulator. Will I receive a certificate? Yes. Delegates who successfully complete the required theory, practical assessment and competency requirements receive certification confirming completion of the course. Do I need previous aesthetics experience? Not necessarily. Entry requirements vary depending on the course. Some foundation courses are suitable for appropriately qualified healthcare professionals entering aesthetics, while advanced courses require previous injectable experience. How many models do I need? Most practical courses require a minimum of four live models. The host clinic arranges these models, allowing delegates to gain meaningful hands-on experience throughout the day. Can I train in my own clinic? Yes. This is one of Urban Academy's key differences. We travel to your clinic, allowing training to take place in your own working environment with your own equipment and patient base wherever appropriate. Is prescribing support included? Yes. Eligible courses include prescribing support for up to five patients where clinically appropriate. All prescribing remains subject to consultation, clinical assessment and prescriber discretion. Some courses are suitable for beginners with the appropriate professional background, whilst others require previous experience. We'll always advise honestly which pathway is appropriate. Where are courses held? Urban Academy is based in Staffordshire but travels to host clinics throughout the UK by arrangement. How do I book?
